We met at Andru’s house at 7pm.  In attendance: Brian Dorsey, Andru, Jesse, Stuart, Doug (joined by Skype)

Next Mind Camp will be November 11-12 at the Youngstown Cultural Arts Center.  It will cost a bit more this time, but we’ll have the room that was closed to us last time, and a few other extra amenities.  We’re going to shoot for 250-275 attendees.

We’ll have different lighting in the dance studio, to create a more conducive space.

We will sell tickets in two rounds, with the first round starting on August 28.

Primary focus of the next few months is on increasing diversity at the event—go out to events, make personal connections, biotech meetups, etc.  We want to identify networking opportunities with groups outside of the geek-o-sphere, so that we can actually meet folks in person and tell them about Mind Camp.
