The meeting on Thursday, October 12, was attended by Stuart, Andru, and Doug via Skype.

Doug has been pursuing a couple of sponsorship leads.  Nothing firm yet, but there’s some interest.

It was suggested that we pursue Clearwire as a possible sponsor… especially because they could bring a few of their WiMax boxes with them to supplement Youngstown’s wifi.

Doug has also followed up with a number of politicos.  Several of them are very interested in attending, but election season is in full swing, making commitments hard to come by.  We discussed allowing TVW to bring their cameras & satellite truck should certain politicos choose to attend (fine with us.)

Current needs are: furniture, sell out tickets (42 left), bring in a couple more sponsors.

Stuart will work on a few blog posts.  We need to communicate the new session selection process, among other things.

Stuart will also get in touch with previous camp counselors and recruit new ones, if necessary.
