<p><span style="font-size:16px;">What is Mind Camp?</span></p>

<p><a href="http://www.seattlemind.com">Seattle Mind Camp</a> is a gathering of geeks&#8212;technology-minded or otherwise&#8212;in and around Seattle. It&#8217;s like <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BAR_Camp">Bar Camp</a>, except in <a href="http://seattlewiki.org/wiki/Main_Page">Seattle</a>, and you replace the word &#8220;Bar&#8221; with &#8220;Mind.&#8221; Also, we don&#8217;t focus exclusively on technology and it&#8217;s surrounding culture, but rather on anything and everything interesting and thought-provoking.</p>

<blockquote><p>We want to find out what happens when you put 150 of Seattle&#8217;s smartest forward thinkers together in an empty office space for a full 24 hours. <p><span style="font-size:16px;">More Questions</span></p>

<p><b>Who organizes it?</b></p>

<p>The event is being presented by <a href="http://www.gearlive.com/index.php/news/about/">Gear Live Media</a>, and organized primarily by Gear Live&#8217;s Editor-in-Chief, <a href="http://mindcamp.gearlive.com/index.php/mindcamp/wiki/Andru-Edwards/" title="Andru-Edwards">Andru Edwards</a>. Andru is supported by the <a href="http://mindcamp.gearlive.com/index.php/mindcamp/wiki/Planning-Committee/" title="Planning-Committee">Planning Committee</a>, which currently includes <a href="http://mindcamp.gearlive.com/index.php/mindcamp/wiki/Monica-Edwards/" class="noArticle" title="Monica-Edwards">Monica Edwards</a>, <a href="http://mindcamp.gearlive.com/index.php/mindcamp/wiki/Ted-Leung/" title="Ted-Leung">Ted Leung</a>, <a href="http://mindcamp.gearlive.com/index.php/mindcamp/wiki/Brian-Rice/" title="Brian-Rice">Brian Rice</a>, <a href="http://mindcamp.gearlive.com/index.php/mindcamp/wiki/Justin-Martenstein/" title="Justin-Martenstein">Justin Martenstein</a>, <a href="http://mindcamp.gearlive.com/index.php/mindcamp/wiki/Brian-Dorsey/" title="Brian-Dorsey">Brian Dorsey</a>, <a href="http://mindcamp.gearlive.com/index.php/mindcamp/wiki/Jeff-Barr/" title="Jeff-Barr">Jeff Barr</a>, <a href="http://mindcamp.gearlive.com/index.php/mindcamp/wiki/Nancy-White/" title="Nancy-White">Nancy White</a>, <a href="http://mindcamp.gearlive.com/index.php/mindcamp/wiki/David-Geller/" title="David-Geller">David Geller</a>, <a href="http://mindcamp.gearlive.com/index.php/mindcamp/wiki/Sparky/" class="noArticle" title="Sparky">Sparky</a>, <a href="http://mindcamp.gearlive.com/index.php/mindcamp/wiki/Chris-Pirillo/" class="noArticle" title="Chris-Pirillo">Chris Pirillo</a>, <a href="http://mindcamp.gearlive.com/index.php/mindcamp/wiki/Ponzi-Indharasophang/" class="noArticle" title="Ponzi-Indharasophang">Ponzi Indharasophang</a>, <a href="http://mindcamp.gearlive.com/index.php/mindcamp/wiki/Stuart-Maxwell/" title="Stuart-Maxwell">Stuart Maxwell</a>, <a href="http://mindcamp.gearlive.com/index.php/mindcamp/wiki/Brady-Forrest/" class="noArticle" title="Brady-Forrest">Brady Forrest</a>, <a href="http://mindcamp.gearlive.com/index.php/mindcamp/wiki/Chris-Murphy/" title="Chris-Murphy">Chris Murphy</a>, <a href="http://mindcamp.gearlive.com/index.php/mindcamp/wiki/Benjamin-VanWinkle/" class="noArticle" title="Benjamin-VanWinkle">Benjamin VanWinkle</a>, <a href="http://mindcamp.gearlive.com/index.php/mindcamp/wiki/Doug-Dobbins/" class="noArticle" title="Doug-Dobbins">Doug Dobbins</a>, and <a href="http://mindcamp.gearlive.com/index.php/mindcamp/wiki/Shelly-Farnham/" class="noArticle" title="Shelly-Farnham">Shelly Farnham</a>.</p>

<p>That is to say, the planning committee provides the support to hold the conference.&nbsp; Ultimately, it&#8217;s you&#8212;the participants&#8212;who decide the what, when, and how of the day.</p>

<p><b>Where can I share files / demos / media?</b></p>

<p>We have set up a Box.net <a href="http://box.net/mindcamp/">Mind Camp Filefeed</a>. Any and all files that attendees wish to share can be uploaded there, and anyone - attendee or otherwise - can subscribe to the Filefeed via <a href="http://www.box.net/public/60sdh6jo9k/rss.xml">RSS</a>. Of course, there are also photo-sharing sites and so forth; &#8216;&#8217;&#8216;please use the recommended tag (mindcamp3.0)&#8217;&#8216;&#8217; so everyone can find your contributions.</p>

<p><b>I&#8217;m still not sure I get it</b></p>

<p>That&#8217;s not really a question.</p>

<p><b>Who organizes it?</b></p>

<p>The event is being presented by <a href="http://www.gearlive.com/index.php/news/about/">Gear Live Media</a>, and organized primarily by Gear Live&#8217;s Editor-in-Chief, <a href="http://mindcamp.gearlive.com/index.php/mindcamp/wiki/Andru-Edwards/" title="Andru-Edwards">Andru Edwards</a>. <p>That is to say, the planning committee provides the support to hold the conference.&nbsp; Ultimately, it&#8217;s you&#8212;the participants&#8212;who decide the what, when, and how of the day.</p>
