Should we talk to others outside of the group
* Yes. Get the word out.

Do we need to think about a keynote speaker or two?

* Follow foo-camp model of letting everyone speak about something.
* We’ll have just-enough structure, but let the thing be self-organizing
Mail in 150 biz cards; organizers will sort them & hand out stacks to particpants
* Opening ceremony & icebreaker - very important!
* Help from O’Reilly folks is possible.

* We do this twice a year so as not to dilute the value
* Get people aware & get the attention of the tech press about the value of Seattle tech.
Marketing
* Target a list of press in the region.
* Don’t do any traditional press at all
* You get invited if you do someting so cool that somebody blogs about you
* No NDAs. don’t come if you can’t do a 5K foot overview
* However, do allow no-blogging, off the record conversations
