We have settled on a venue, and have opened the floodgates. If you want to be a part of Seattle Mind Camp 2.0, you can now register. The event will be taking place at the Youngstown Cultural Arts Center, and will run from April 29 through April 30, from noon to noon, 24 hours straight (you know how we do!) A big shout out to Lockergnome for jumping on board as our first sponsor for 2.0.

I signed up. What hotel should I stay at?

No need for a hotel, you get camp out on the floor. I missed 1.0 because it sold out. We are very much looking forward to this one.

Dave and others. There’s a Travelodge to the West at the other side of the golf course from the converted school being used for Mindcamp 2.0.
The Travelodge address is 3512 SW Alaska St, Seattle, WA 98126. +1 (206) 937-9920. I’m sure I’ve been by it but I don’t notice and I know nothing about it (I live due West on Genesee Street near California, Ave.)
This is a residential, light-industrial area. There’s public transportation (Metro 120, and 125: http://transit.metrokc.gov/) that passes the venue.
Depending on overall travel plans, it may be best to stay near the airport or in downtown Seattle and then travel to the Youngstown Cultural Arts Center. Metro 140 from Sea-Tac connects to the 120 at the Burien Transit Center. These run about every 30 minutes.
